Pakistani Drama "Parizaad" review

Story Line:
The drama starts with a man whose name is Parizaad. Parizaad is dark-skinned but very hardworking, extremely respectful and a well-mannered man. Parizaad has grown up with self-esteem and confidence issues. This drama shows his journey of the friends and enemies he meets in his life. He also fights with his inner self of choosing his true passion of poetry or choosing a realistic job that can provide income for his family.
Parizaad is an innocent boy who is often bullied because of his dark skin. His brother and sister-in-law are greedy people. Only his sister Saeeda loves him but she is also married to an old man because of family pressure.
Parizaad started to have feelings for Naheed but Naheed is in love with Majid. One day, Naheed's father slaps Parizaad in front of everyone and is falsely accused of giving a love letter to Naheed. When Parizaad learns that Naheed loves Majid and the love letter also written by him, Parizaad gets hurt. Naheed gets married to Majid and after some time Parizaad meets Bubly who lives like a tomboy. Parizaad needed money for his sister, so he agreed to marry Bubly. But Bubly ran away from her house.
Then Parizaad moved to Karachi and he started working for a big mafia business Behroze Karim. Behroze Karim has a wife Layla, Layla is disloyal to her husband Behroze Karim. She used Parizaad's innocent nature to meet her lover. Behroze Karim kills Layla and her lover. The Layla lover has a powerful background, so Behroze Karim get trapped in his murder case. Behroze Karim know Parizaad is innocent so he sends him to his trusted men name Guru. With Guru, Parizaad will remain safe. But when Parizaad returned to Karachi, he took all the blame and went to jail. But the truth comes soon to the world that Layla and her lover are killed by Behroze Karim.
But Behroze Karim kills himself before being caught by police and gives all his wealth to Parizaad as a reward for his loyalty. Parizaad became rich and the people around him changed completely and they gave Parizaad respect just because he is rich. His brother and sister-in-law also show affection and love towards him. Parizaaad now again meets Naheed. Naheed is in poor condition because her husband Majid is good for nothing. Naheed's father apologizes to Parizaad and tells him that now he knows that he was innocent at that time.
Parizaad arranges a job for Naheed's husband. When Naheed sees the wealth that Parizaad has, she has a change of heart But Parizaad declines.
Annie is a radio host and a blind girl who loves Parizaad Poetry. She meets Parizaad and tells him that she is his fan. Parizaad first hesitates but slowly develops feelings for her. He is afraid that he will get rejected by her due to his dark-skin color. Annie is going to operate her eyes to get back her eyesight. Parizaad's inner self frightens him that when she sees him with her eyes, she will reject him because of his dark-skin tone. He taught that even though he has money and power he is also unable to capture his true love.
Parizaad left everything behind and left Karachi. After leaving, he works as a teacher in a village. No one knows where Parizaad is.
When Annie gets her eyesight back, she finds Parizaad but her efforts are in vain. After some time, Annie meets Parizaad while working as a news anchor. She did not recognize him because he changed his name but after hearing his voice and touching his face, she recognized him. They both confess their love and the story ends with Parizaad finally getting his love.
Review:
I recommend you to watch this drama. I really like this drama. The drama shows the story of middle-class people's difficulties. Every character has written in a fabulous way and the actors who played this role also do justice with their character. I like Ahmend Ali Akbar acting and also Numan Ijaz acting. The reasons are that society never accepted a person who has a dark-skin tone. If a dark-skinned person has manners, extremely respectful, and hardworking, society only sees his color and sees nothing else. This is a bitter and cruel reality of our society.
This is a story of a person's life. They show the ups and down in life and his courage and bravery that he did the right thing instead of wrong. His family expects from his sister, everyone is greedy. But the fact is that Parizaad also learns from society in a positive way not in a negative way. This story tells when wealth is with you everyone would respect you including your relatives. They never respect you being a person. Ahmend Ali Akbar nails the character and every dialogue is delivered by his body language and the pain that he got from family and relatives and society shown every beautifully. Parizaad is the story of many young people around us.
